Well holy shit, look who's doing a basketball recruiting thread? (This will be the only one I'll ever do)

We'll start it out with a bang though.

Talor Battle's half-brother Taran Buie commits to Penn State!

Buie, from Bishop Maginn High School, is the son of former Harrisburg High standout Dan Buie, who is Battle's step-father. Currently a junior, Buie would join the Nittany Lions for the 2010-11 campaign, which would be Battle's senior season. Several scouting Web sites list Buie as a Top 100 recruit nationwide, including Top 20 at his position.

Big-time commit.

Classy stud. He'll fit right in. Probably PSU's first legit NBA draft pick.

6'9" 3-star Markus Kennedy will be visiting supposedly in the next two weeks (i'd have to assume that means Blue-White weekend).

Then he'll decide between PSU, WV, and Villanova.

It would be nice to steal Big East recruits.

Rivals basically lied...you can scratch Kennedy off the list. We're not at the 'steal from the Big East' level yet. However...

4-star Jordan Latham, 6'9" F from MD, has re-opened his recruitment because Sean Miller left Xavier (where Jordan committed). Since opening his recruitment he has heard from Penn State, George Mason, Texas, Maryland, and Oregon State. We offered him in the fall...and he's already visited us, so I have to assume we're back in the race for him.
