It appears that UM recruit Christian Wilson is now looking elsewhere and has MSU on his short list along with North Carolina and Boston College.

Oh I definatly agree, and I have no hope for this situation. But it's not technically over yet.

Thanks for the info, but as I said in the other thread...It appears as if we are recruiting him at a different position than he wants to play. So if that's true, not gonna happen. But who knows, maybe its bad info...

OH DE Greg Scruggs (Multiple BCS offers, and has play just one year of organized football, stands 6-5) is gonna be on campus this weekend. I'm really, really crossing my fingers for a commitment here.

Also, Scruggs has been confirmed as being on campus (Perphaps the top prospect still on board, don't be fooled by his ranking) and Will Flemming (We're recruiting him at LB) is also on campus. And yes, Will needs to put on some weight. But I trust if we offered, he has the frame to do so.

Scruggs couldnt make it. But there is a huge upside...he will be visiting with his parents next week, a couple days before signing day.

Edit, actually Im getting mixed signals on this...so I'll just shutup for now.

No commitments thus far, but it's not over and no prospects committed to other schools either. We're waiting on a ton of prospects on signing day. Unlike last year, it should be a very, very exciting day. We've literately got about 15 guys left on the list that I could see in green and white.

Limping to the finish here...Scruggs commits to Louisville (Loved English).

SpartanMag has an orange alert up though and says there is a "HUGE" commitment that will be announced in 1 or 2 days. Knowing them, it'll turn out to be some under the radar kid, but we can hope.

...Rhonne Sanders is another huge recruit. Don't be fooled by his star ranking, he has 2 stars. But offers from MSU, UM (Michigan), and others. The big news here is FSU decided NOT to offer him a scholarship (His dream school), and he really enjoyed his visit a couple weeks ago. This just might be the kid SM is talking about, but that's not why I'm bringing him up. Would be another opportunity to steal another UM kid and I DO believe he will be ours.

Oh, and I gave some bad info before. We are looking to get Christian Wilson here. Not sure where he would play.

Definatly a good start with Jude and Gardiner, looks to be a strong finish to this class.

My official prediction for the "Huge" commitment today, would be current Illinois commitment, LB Justin Staples. He has a very bright future ahead, is teammates with Delvon Roe, and would round out a very, very solid LB class.

Dawan Whitner (OSU and Illinois offers, I believe), is another strong possibility.
