IowaHawkeye has a spectacular aura aboutIowaHawkeye has a spectacular aura about
football Iowas 2010 Football Schedule

2010

9/4 - Eastern Illinois (w)
9/11 - Iowa State (w)
9/18 - at Arizona (w) 1/4 big games
9/25 - Ball State (w)
10/2 - Penn State (Homecoming) (w) 2/4 big games
10/9 - BYE WEEK
10/16 - at Michigan (w)
10/23 - Wisconsin (w) 3/4 big games
10/30 - Michigan State (w)
11/6 - at Indiana (w)
11/13 - at Northwestern (w)
11/20 - Ohio State (w) 4/4 big games
11/27 - at Minnesota (w)

Iowa goes starts the season 2-0 before traveling to an Arizona team that played very well in 2009 and nearly had the Hawkeyes number in 2009. Iowa will have to contain a very hungry Wildcat team with high asperations for 2010.

Iowa should handle Ball State (why were not playing a better schedule still kills me) Then homecoming vs Penn State. Iowa will need to play tough but if recent success is a clue to how this game will unfold Iowa fans should chalk one up. The players better show up though, Iowas win in 2009 in Happy Valley will bring a very hungry team into Kinnick.

After a Bye week we take on a Michigan team at the Big House that will be re-tooled to make a run in the Big Ten. A team that hasn't really put it all together since the arrival of Rich Rod, but will surely be up for a game vs Iowa.

Then Iowa has two games at home vs Wisconsin and Michigan state, two teams that Iowa has had to work hard for wins in recent years. This should be two more wins for iowa before a road game at Indiana where Iowa will need to show up and be ready to play a tough Hoosier team that will put up numbers if you let them. Following that game up with another road game vs Northwestern who will bring a very similar gameplan to the field. Iowa will need to prepare well for both teams if they expect to get victories.

Then we come home to play the Buckeyes in what some will be predicting could decide who goes to the RoseBowl to start off 2011! Iowa will surely be hungry after losing a heartbreaker on the road in 09'. Stanzi will hopefully be caring another long winning streak into this one to make up for missing out in 09'.

The regular season will come to an end up north at Kinnick North. Where Iowa will do what Iowa does best. Beat Minnesota.

This time lets just take the goal posts all the way to Pasadena!

Once we go undefeated I'm sure the Rose Bowl will pick Iowa for an at-large.
