That's very possible but the comma separates two different thoughts so it's not a run-on sentence more so than an incomplete separation of thoughts. But if I wouldn't get yelled at by certain people for sharing my opinion about certain issues, I'd give mine. However, I'd prefer to retain it to myself as to avoid a headache.
